About the Program

The UFSC Graduate Program in Economics (PPGEco) began its activities in 1995  with the aim of preparing professionals to work in the public and business sectors.  Currently, it offers a master’s and a doctoral degree in Economics. Approximately 15 students are admitted to the master’s program and five to the doctoral program every year. In the last evaluation by CAPES, the program obtained grade 5.
